I have adapted my BIG Monsters & Aliens BIG Coloring Book & Poster Book to a standard-sized coloring book. In the process, I have added four monsters, the Lake Memphremagog Monster, Lake Norman Monster, Scape Ore Swamp Monster, and Big Bird or Thunderbird. As always, there are notes for investigators who want to look into the stories of these monsters more deeply. BIG Monsters and Aliens Coloring Book has twenty interior pages, plus a full-color front and back cover. Look for it at all of my events.

Every year for the last three years, I have gone to the East Elementary Holiday Shoppe at East Elementary in Athens, Ohio. The Holiday Shoppe gives children the chance to buy gifts for their friends and family from local artists and craftspeople. It also offers them lessons in counting, spending, and budgeting their money. The Holiday Shoppe is great fun and very rewarding. This year's East Elementary Holiday Shoppe will take place on Friday, December 12, at East Elementary School, 3 Wallace Drive, Athens, OH 45701. I hope to see you there.

My new coloring book, Big Monsters & Aliens, is out and available for purchase, just in time for the Mothman Festival! Big monsters and aliens need a lot of headroom and they've got it in this extra-large coloring book and poster book. Spiral-bound at the top, Big Monsters & Aliens is 11 by 17 inches and includes all of your favorite oversized entities, plus some you may never have heard of before. And once you have colored them, you can remove the pages from the book and hang them on your wall as posters. They will also fit in a standard-sized frame. Click on the tab labeled Coloring Books above or click here to see more!

MOTHMAN '66 is now on my blog. I have created a new page for my poster designs. Click on the Posters tab above to see my Mothman poster. Mothman is a child of the 1960s, so I figured he should have his own sixties-style poster. All the venues shown are from John Keel's book, The Mothman Prophecies. I will offer Mothman '66 at all my events this year. I hope to see you soon.

HELLO AGAIN and welcome to my new blog. As you can see by the big letters at the top of the page, I am an artist and a writer. Although I have been drawing and writing ever since I could hold a pencil, my professional career began less than four years ago with my first coloring book, Mothman, Aliens, and Flying Saucers (2009). Since then I have drawn two more coloring books, several comic book stories, and other smaller projects.
I PUBLISH AND SELL MY BOOKS MYSELF, so in addition to being an artist and a writer, I am a business manager, designer, production manager, editor, publisher, distributor, and retailer. It doesn't matter which hat I'm wearing, my overarching goals remain the same:
My goal as a publisher is to produce books and other publications of the highest quality and durability.
My goal as a business owner is to provide the best service I can to my customers.
I AM LEARNING AS I GO and I will admit to making mistakes along the way. No matter what happens, I will continue to strive towards my goals of beauty, quality, and durability. I will continue to combine the tried and true methods and materials of the past with the limitless possibilities of the future.
MY MODELS ARE THE GREAT ART AND ARTISTS of the past and present. One factor in the equation for greatness is a quality of timelessness. Trends are fine and can result in some really interesting and attractive art. Trends pass away, though, forever giving way to new trends. Good art transcends trendiness. I hope to create good art, regardless of trends. If I could sum up my goal in a single phrase, it would be that I seek to create things imbued with an indefinable cool. You can't name it or describe it. You just know it when you see it.
